30% recycled content in fabric-backed vinyl wallcoverings

The new specification for fabric-backed decorative vinyl wallcovering incorporates a minimum of 30% recycled content, when designed for use in contract environments (eg hotels, offices, public buildings, healthcare, restaurants and shops). A ground-breaking new process using previously unusable industrial waste PVC/paper/fabric composite, which would have otherwise ended up in landfill, can be seamlessly integrated within the wallcovering. There is no need to ‘hide’ the recycled content within a sandwich layer, which often gives unnecessary and wasteful additional weight to the finished product. Available in several designs across a number of colourways, the recycled content does not compromise in any way the design of the wallcovering aesthetically or performance-wise. Nor is there any price premium for the new recycled content designs.
