Bee Bo®
When recycled PVC becomes an interior designer.
With more than 80% in recycled PVC, the Bee Bo® interior design profiles were awarded the bronze prize at the SolVin Awards for PVC Innovation 2004. This prize rightly rewarded the technological showcase of the Belgian firms Alkor Draka (now Renolit) and Deceuninck. The Bee Bo® project started in 2002 with the objective of offering a product with an distinct plastic identity and a resolutely futureoriented design, light years away from traditional wood or marble imitations. Completely recyclable, the range is available in a variety of metallised aspects to decorate the walls and ceilings of bathrooms, kitchens or offices. Today, sales of Bee Bo® are very steady in the UK and Benelux markets where the publicity campaigns have been very well received. AlkorDesign®
The colour of zinc, the quality of zinc… but in PVC!
Presented at the 2004 SolVin Awards, AlkorDesign® is an innovative product developed by Alkor Draka (now Renolit). Combined with AlkorPlan®, these two products aregradually replacing traditional zinc roofs in large buildings, some of which have a real architectural quality. Today, this system is also available for residential buildings. Much more affordable than zinc, lighter and easier to install and offering better thermal stability, AlkorDesign® saw its sales increase by 66% in Benelux between 2005 and 2006! The Zeepreventorium located at De Haan (Belgium), which houses children with chronic diseases, is currently building a new block. This is a significant project for Alkor® products, in preference to zinc based materials.

Volum’Up®
PVC storage
In 2001, Grosfillex (France) presented at the SolVin Award the world’s first storage unti composed mainly of extruded PVC profiles. Very soon afterwards, thanks to its basic features (rot-proof, lightweight, speed of assembly, size variations on request), Volum’Up® took the DIY superstores by storm throughout Europe. To such a degree that between 2002 and 2007, the production volume doubled! Grosfillex clearly did not want to stop half way on such a good course. The company also looked for a way of pene-trating the midto top-range segment and to enter the private home market. With almost 20 years of experience in extruded profile decoration techniques, Grosfillex created decorated cupboards (with a metal or wood finish) that were well suited for the traditional rooms of a home. This new range once again allowed PVC to extend its range of applications.

Rot-proof, waterproof, solid, resistant to chemical attack, recyclable… PVC, the ideal material for long-life shelving.
