High-tech skai “cool colors plus” film for window profiles

Skai “cool colors plus” film reflects the sun’s infrared rays so effectively, regardless of substrate, that even with extremely dark colors the heating of the laminated window or profile system is greatly reduced, preventing warping and deformation. This permits the use of non-steel plastic window systems in dark colors, contributing to a longer serviceable life and thus sustainability of the entire system. The “cool colors plus” film is effective in any type of solar radiation, whether moderate or strong. It has even been certified for colored windows systems in so-called “dry and hot climatic regions” such as in Southern Europe.

“Nature base” product range with skai Evida, skai Etano and skai Ebamboo

The newly-developed “Nature base” product range, with synthetic leathers skai Evida, skai Ebamboo and skai Etano, has been brought recently to the market. “Nature base” is a trend-setting development by Hornschuch that represents a world novelty. The aim has been to replace as many components as possible with natural and renewable resources, without influencing the wear resistance and longevity of the products. The product is more than 75% based on natural and renewable raw materials. Even if the formulation contains a large amount of sustainable, natural resources the product properties still fulfil stringent technical specifications. Compliance with Okotex Standard 100 as well as Medical Product Law DIN EN ISO 10993-5+-10 impressively demonstrates that a sustainable solution can also meet the highest technological specifications.
