Logix 45: the flagship product for electrical installation in commercial buildings in France

Thanks to a successful association of soft and rigid PVC, the new PVC LOGIX 45™ range offers a quick, easy and intuitive installation of wiring devices in commercial environment. For several years and in many countries all over the world Legrand DLPe* is the reference trunking system for cable management and wiring devices installation in commercial buildings. Nowadays DLP or DLPe has become a generic word designing electrical trunking especially in commercial environment. Usually, dedicated mounting accessories are necessary to fit wiring devices in the trunking. These accessories take into account dispersion in dimensions due to manufacturing processes and corresponding variable play between the moulded parts of the wiring device and the extruded profile.

Mosaic™ program DLPe snap-on trunking: a new solution for wiring devices installation in commercial buildings

The product combines aesthetic and technical advantages of round corner associated with flexible cover and convenience of snap on installation for Mosaic™ wiring devices. In traditional electrical trunking design, wiring devices are fit in the trunking thanks to mounting devices. Therefore a potential drawback of snap on design is that the wiring device may be not so firmly attached in the trunking. To overcome this limitation Planett Wattohm has introduced a new version of its LOGIX 45™ product: in the new design, a thin layer of soft PVC is coextruded with the white rigid PVC on both inner sides of the trunking thus bordering the 45mm wide aperture. Flexibility of PVC cord provides a good adaptation to the play between the actual width of the opening and the precise 45 mm width of wiring devices. On the other hand excellent grip of plasticized PVC helps to secure the mounting.
