New generation of antibacterial PVC floorcoverings

Graboplast developed a new generation of antibacterial flexible PVC floor coverings. Owing to a new industrial process, it is now possible to integrate a silver-modified photo catalytic nano titanium-dioxide in the top transparent layer which – under visible/UV light radiation – gives a full-scale antibacterial protection to the product. Formulations of plasticised PVC are converted into a multilayered structure on impregnated glass fibre reinforcement using a special coating technology, followed by a surface embossing step. The resulting top layer is a transparent antibacterial composite material.

New generation of Safety PVC Floorcoverings

Grabo SafeDecor is a transparent floorcovering, which guarantees excellent slip resistance throughout the whole lifetime of the product without the generally used hard grains. The product has also eliminated the factors hindering the expansion of the safety floorcoverings: decrease of the safety characteristics in time and limits in designing.

Sports floor system on pure PVC basis

It is now possible to substitute timber construction materials by using foamed PVC sheet. In addition to the optional upper part, the sports floor systems use an underlay covering for providing safety and sports characteristics.
